Rescheduling My Deadline

As I have written, I truly believe in O’Toole’s law: “Murphy was an optimist.” I thought I had accounted for it when I set my deadlines for The Guardians and my other works. It looks now like I was an optimist as well. My original plan was to have the rough draft of this novel completed by the end of the year.

After re-evaluating everything, there is a slim—very slim chance I may still succeed in this deadline. However, that is allowing for the most optimistic of projections to meet that deadline. My new projection places the completion of the rough draft between December 19, 2009 and March 6, 2010.

I will keep my readers up-to-date on the progress of The Guardians.
