As I work on a new draft of The Tower and the first series of Dark Medicine, an editor has pointed out something I have known. I have trouble writing romance in to my story. I am good with suspense and description and all my other tools are sharp. It is romance that gives me trouble—in my writing life. Right now, I am in search of an article, a book, something to help guide me in writing romantic tension.
Fortunately, I am taking a few seminars in romance writing at the Missouri Writers Conference April 16-18. I hope to find the seed of knowledge that I need to shore that part of story building.
Meanwhile, I am open to anyone who might have a suggestion of resources.
